[box title=”Paul’s response” style=”1″] Thank you so much for the note.  It’s nice to know that my efforts are still useful to business owners.  I didn’t get into PCI compliance in the articles, as they were already complex enough, but here are my thoughts: We do 100% card not present transactions, and we do all of our processing through a web-based portal. If the transaction is done entirely over the web, then it’s up to your processor to provide secure network storage, and you can control access to the portal by limiting access to key personnel….(edited) If you are accepting cards physically, then it’s a different story.  I would work with your processor to do an audit and see whether your procedures are up to snuff….Thanks again for reaching out.  Hearing from readers makes my day.
